Awaken the Sleeping Poet

begins their regular event at The Twig. Two poets are featured each month followed by an open mic. Suitable for the entire family, bring your poems sleeping in your drawers and journals to share with this ever-encouraging audience.

To launch our new partnership with Awaken the Sleeping Poet, organized by Floyd Lamrouex, authors Alan Birkelbach, 2005 Poet Laureate of Texas, and Jo Le Coeur, English and Poetry professor from the Incarnate Word will kick-off this night of poetry.
