The CE Group

Founded in 1990, the CE Group: Communications & Events, is an event based marketing company that delivers the best in class services which aligns and supports our clients' vision and business objectives. They create customer experiences that deliver consistent brand loyalty. Because of their reputation for excellence, originality, and meticulous attention to detail, the CE Group books and services the Events at Pearl venues and grounds. They can also provide expertise in theme development, event budget & timelines, lighting & decor, catering logistics, and entertainment & production.

Nancy Resendez-Battram, CMP

A member of the CE Group, Nancy is the primary contact person for Pearl venue sales and marketing.  She is also available for event planning consultation and oversees the venue operation. Battram is a certified meeting planner with over 20 years of experience in combined sales & marketing, event logistics, office administration, planning, and customer service.

Renee Keeling

A member of the CE Group, Renee is the primary contact person for all booking inquiries and contracting. She is also available for scheduling site visits and tours of the venues. Keeling has over 20 years of experience in combined event administration, sales, and customer service.

James Pope

A member of the CE Group, James is the primary contact person for all event implementation and servicing. He is also available for site visits, scheduled tours, and the smooth execution of all your event needs. Pope has over 16 years of experience in combined event logistics, planning, and customer service.

Venue Service Coordinator, Events at Pearl
Krista Friedman

A member of the CE Group, Krista is the primary contact person for all booking information, billing, and catering inquiries. She is also available for scheduling site visits and tours of the venues. Friedman has over 4 years of experience in combined event administration, sales, and customer service.

Our experienced and professional on-site staff are experts in all areas of event production to make each occasion flow seamlessly:

  • Mario Prado, CMP (Certified Meeting Planner) worked for 30 years at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio; comprehensive experience in event coordination and logistics.
  • Sissy Henges, PTG (Professional Tour Guide) brings 25+ years of extensive convention, corporate, and association event coordination and tour guide experience. 
  • Mickey Henges, PTG (Professional Tour Guide) brings 25+ years of extensive convention, corporate, and association event coordination and tour guide experience.
  • Glenn Boeck brings more than 20 years of professional event service, development, and  implementation of custom tour packages and extensive customer service.
